In Rememberance

One of the saddest things for us to do is change a hound's name on this website from the "Our Hounds" page to this "In Rememberance" page. When one of our hounds passes on to the great running area in the sky it's truly a sad day.

Maggie

May 29, 2001 - March 18, 2007

Maggie passed away at 5 years old after a short illness. She'll be fondly remembered as a solid gundog with an A+ disposition. Her pup Mac carries on her rabbit running love - he's doing his mother proud.  Rest in peace, girl.

Miller's Blackberry Brandy

May 13, 2002 to October 14, 2005

Brandy was taken from us in her prime. She was hit in a logging road at 3 years old on October 14, 2005. The driver never tried to miss her and never stopped - they simply took her from us and kept on going - simply immoral.

She had a great morning, running hare to the gun until just before she died at 10am. Shortly before her death she ran the first hare to the gun for a hunter from Florida. Brandy went out of the world pounding a hare, and that's how she'll be remembered. I've had a lot of dogs with nowhere near her talent and great disposition, but only a few better overall. Brandy earned her place in our hearts and was buried overlooking the kennel.

Rest in peace, Sweetheart. We'll remember you always. R.I.P.

Clicking the hound's name above will take you to their web page. This page is unchanged from the way it was before their death. This will respectfully hold the hound's place in history.
